1893 – The Beginning
- The System is Created: Wilson Energy’s roots trace back to 1893 when the original energy system was created to serve just 3,000 people. The small, community-focused initiative laid the foundation for what we know today as Wilson Energy. 2005 – Wilson Energy Reborn
- Modern-Day Founding: After years of serving local communities, Wilson Energy was officially reborn in 2005 with a mission to provide reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions to homes and businesses across a broader service area.
2008 – Expanding Services
- Service Expansion: Wilson Energy expanded its service offerings to include both residential and commercial electricity services, providing more access to reliable energy solutions for a wider customer base.
2015 – Smart Meter Rollout
- Introduction of Smart Meters: In a push toward more efficient energy management, Wilson Energy began the installation of smart meters across our service areas, allowing customers to track and manage their energy usage in real-time.
2023 – Digital Transformation
