Wilson Energy is proud to be the fourth-largest city-owned electric system in North Carolina. We provide safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to the people of Wilson, Wilson County, and parts of six nearby counties. With over 1,400 miles of power lines, we deliver electricity to more than 36,000 homes and businesses.

Our Natural Gas Division is one of only eight city-owned gas systems in the state. We manage over 406 miles of gas lines, serving more than 13,000 homes and businesses, making us the third-largest city gas system in North Carolina.
