Wilson is similar to other states in the U.S. in that Wilson's housing needs can no longer be met by today's housing supply. This Housing and Neighborhood Reinvestment Plan identifies Wilson's housing and neighborhood reinvestment needs, and proposes discrete activities to address those needs. 

VISION

Improve housing and neighborhood conditions and opportunities for the people of Wilson, with a particular emphasis on very low, low, low and moderate income households in historically underinvested areas. 

MISSION

Assess affordable housing and community development needs; identifies strategies and actions for neighborhood reinvestment; and prioritize initiatives based on local resources, organizational capacity and the potential for outside funding.
