The City provides customers the ability to view their utility consumption on a daily and hourly basis and receive electronic notices about their consumption. Customers can access their utility consumption through MyUsage.com or the MyUsage app.
Customers can view their utility consumption through easy-to-understand graphs with temperature overlay.
Using the same data as usage monitoring, prepay takes the consumption data and converts the data into daily charges. Once a customer establishes an account balance, utility charges are deducted daily and alerts are provided when the balance gets low. Prepay provides the following advantages:
- No security deposit;
- No Late fees;
- Monitor your daily consumption;
- No disconnection of service as long as the account has a positive credit balance.
Credit can be added to the account as frequently and in any amount the customer chooses – not dictated by a traditional monthly bill. Customers can make these payments using all payment options provided by the City.
