Customers may transfer service from one location to another if accounts are not delinquent. All that is required is proof of identification and a new lease or ownership documentation.
Requesting Termination of Service
Customers requesting termination of service must inform the City of the location, the date service is to be disconnected and the forwarding mailing address for the final bill. Termination requests must be provided to Customer Service in person, in writing, or by phone.
Disconnection from the City’s utility system will be performed the same day if the request is received prior to 12:00 PM. Requests received after 12:00 PM will be completed the next business day. Disconnection from the Greenlight system will be performed the same day if made prior to 5:30 PM. Requests received after 5:30 PM will be completed the next business day.
A customer’s final bill will be mailed in a timely manner to encourage collection and customer understanding.
