Digital Submittal

The City of Wilson uses the Wilson Application Portal to process permits and applications. If you have not previously submitted an application through the online portal, you will need to create an account first. Please upload all supporting documentation. 

ABC Review and Inspections

Request should be submitted through the portal and include the Inspection Zoning Compliance Form and Local Government Opinion Form. Both forms should be uploaded to the Wilson application portal or emailed to landdev@wilsonnc.org.  

NC ABC Permits

Temporary Use Permits

Temporary use permit (TUP) is needed for any short-term use of space for something other than it's normal intended use. Request should be submitted through the portal and include written authorization from the property owner.

Floodplain Development Permit

 Development in a designated flood hazard area requires the issuance of a local floodplain development permit. Permits must be applied for prior to the commencement of work to ensure that it will not aggravate the effects of flooding.

Zoning Verification Letter Request

Requests should be submitted through the portal and include any forms or specific questions to be answered as part of the zoning verification letter, who to address the letter to, any deadlines, and where to send the completed letter to. For additional questions please reach out to Land Development at landdev@wilsonnc.org.
