Rodger Lentz holds a BA in Geography from UNC Greensboro where he concentrated in Urban Studies and an MA in Geography from UNC Charlotte where he studied Urban and Regional Planning. Prior to joining Wilson, he worked in North Carolina for the Town of Matthews, Cabarrus County and the City of Charlotte. He is a certified planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners [AICP], and a graduate of the County Administration Program at the School of Government at UNC Chapel Hill.
Mr. Lentz is active professionally in the state and nationally, serving on committees with the NC League of Municipalities, the North Carolina chapter of the American Planning Association (where he served as president from 2007-2010). He presently serves on the national board of directors for the American Planning Association.
