Parks and Recreation Administrative Secretary

This position provides administrative and secretarial support within various City departments. Answers and directs calls, greets patrons, and provides information. Prepares documents and forms which requires typing correspondences, choosing and completing various forms and applications; and compiling information and creating reports. Processes purchase orders, payment vouchers and invoices, secures necessary approvals; and maintains appropriate records.

With over 20 years of experience with the City of Wilson Helen has served in many capacities. During her tenure as Center Coordinator Helen organized various activities and special events that continue to thrive. Now serving as Administrative Secretary Helen works closely with both the Parks and Recreation staff to handle employee and vendor payments as well as greet and welcome patrons interested in facility and park rentals.

Helen serves as the contact for park/shelter rentals, duck blinds, and general parks and recreation questions.
