The City of Wilson’s Business Operations includes the Billing, Collections, and Customer Service divisions. These divisions are responsible for assisting customers with setting up and maintaining Utility and Greenlight accounts, processing payments, providing assistance for securing and termination of services, and answering customer inquiries concerning services and billing procedures. The BCCS Divisions work to make the customer’s experience as easy as possible. We encourage you to consider using one of our many different avenues in making your Utility and Greenlight payments. We have incorporated new technologies as tools to assist us in our daily operations and also help those who desire our services by providing easier and faster access to appropriate information.
Any customer requesting to establish services with the City of Wilson, for Utilities or Greenlight, will be able to submit their request in person at the Customer Service Center, over the phone at 252-399-2200, via fax at 252-399-2314, or by email at Greenlight or Customer Service. All requests will be received and processed during the Customer Service normal business hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday, except on Municipal Holidays.

Wilson Express Pay – Pay your Utility or Greenlight bill over the phone 24/7. You will have the ability to access your account information, billing history, payment history, or make a payment over the phone! Simply call 252-399-2200, and either speak or select option 1,1 for Utilities, or option 1,2 for Greenlight. Be sure to have your account number available in order to access your account.
Online Bill Pay – The City of Wilson offers an Online option to pay both your Utility and Greenlight bills. You will be able to setup a profile and have easy access to your payment and billing history 24/7. Bank Draft – You can have the amount you owe on your Utility or Greenlight bill automatically taken out of your banking account – with plenty of notice before any money is withdrawn. There’s not a more time-saving or convenient way to pay your bill.
Before Setting Up Bank Draft from Your Savings Account…If you plan to set up AutoPay from your savings account, check with your bank or credit union first. Some financial institutions will not honor bank drafts from savings accounts.
