Both Monday and Tuesday trash/recycle routes will be collected on Wednesday. Bulky item pickup will be available Wednesday - Friday.
We appreciate your patience, as it may take well into the afternoon to complete both routes.
Thursday and Friday routes will run as scheduled.
Another weekend, another round of winter weather on the way!
This system should bring Wilson only snow, but it could be a lot. The National Weather Service has Wilson County in the 8-10 inch range. Hazardous conditions will start Friday evening, with snow and high winds throughout the day on Saturday.

All city departments are under storm procedures now. Streets crews are out today pretreating city streets.
