Wilson Downtown Development Corporation and the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park & Museum non-profit organizations were awarded the 2021 Award of Merit from the North Carolina Main Street Center for the BEST DOWNTOWN EVENT OR EVENT SERIES statewide for Electric Light Fantasy-A Holiday Laser & Music Extravaganza.
