Things To Do The Week of July 4
This week we say goodbye to June and hello to July, ushering in our nations's Independence. Below is a list of local firework displays and fun city attractions to enjoy with your family the week of July 4th.
Wilson Tobs Baseball game with Fireworks Extravaganza after the game. Game starts at 6:15 pm
Wilson County Fairgrounds will have a fireworks show. Gates will open at 6:00 pm with refreshments for sale and fireworks will start at 9:15 pm.
City of Wilson's Human Relations department will be hosting First Friday on the Lawn concert at the Edna Boykin Cultural Center starting at 6:00 pm. R&B music by On The Edge Band.
July 6 - 7
Over the weekend enjoy Kayaking out at Lake Wilson or Boating and Fishing at Buckhorn Lake. There is also Wilson City Little League Baseball tournaments going on at Southern Bank Stadium in J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex all weekend. Free admission in to all games with a $5 parking fee.
