Discover Local Government: Youth Citizens Academy Registration Now Open

Hosted by the City of Wilson Human Relations Office, the Youth Citizens Academy is designed for rising 9th through 12th-grade students attending school in Wilson County who are interested in learning about the structure and operations of local government.

Participants will spend three days (June 8-10) visiting city departments, engaging in hands-on activities, and touring facilities. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into career pathways in public service.
