Wilson may get more snow this week
Monday, February 10, 2014
The National Weather Service has placed Wilson County under a hazardous weather outlook with a high likelihood of snow or wintry mix this week.
There's a chance of flurries beginning after 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, but the larger concern is a winter storm that would arrive Tuesday afternoon and perhaps continue until Thursday. Current predictions are Wilson will receive snow Tuesday and a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain Wednesday into the evening.
If anything happens to affect the city's scheduling, we will post the news on the website, our Facebook and Twitter pages, with the Wilson Times, local television stations and media sites.
Wilson Energy customers should call 399-2424 to report outages.
