Wilson PD Helps Raise Money for Wounded Vets

Where: Sears at Wilson Mall

What: Heroes at Home

Wilson PD will donate their time for Heroes at Home on June 27th at the local Sears store in Wilson Mall. Heroes at Home is a national campaign partnered between Sears and Rebuilding Together.

This organization helps wounded service members come home to a remodeled house based on his/her disabilities due to the war. Instead of the solider learning to accommodate to the house, they make the house accommodate them. Sears uses donations from the public for this outreach.

The Wilson Police Department will be participating in this event to help Sears of Wilson raise funds. On June 27, officers will be "locked up" at Sears. They will need citizens to give donations to help them "post bond". Please come out to Sears and help a great cause.
