Public Information

The Public Affairs Office oversees mass communication to the citizens of Wilson, including television programs for Wilson TV (TWC cable channel 8), the delivery of accurate information to the news media, creation/design of utility newsletters and a flurry of other information. Our office also works with the webmaster to maintain this website.

Because Wilson is a Public Power City, we also serve as support for Wilson Energy by marketing and promoting electrical and natural gas customer service programs to a growing customer base.

We coordinate visits between Wilson Energy staff and local schools. Our crews have visited hundreds of students in recent months to talk about electric and natural gas safety.
