On Friday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m., First Christian Church proudly continues it’s 2011-12 Music Series
 William Hilderbrandt, a native of Miami. Florida, has served as the Director of Music and Organist at Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church, Tarboro, NC, since August of 2007. He has served many Churches in North Carolina Since he moved to Raleigh in 1974. St. Paul’s Christian Church, Raleigh, NC, First United Methodist Church in Henderson, NC, Hillyer Memorial Christian Church, Raleigh, NC and For 15 years served First Christian Church of Wilson, NC. 
He earned his BA in Music Education with a Major in Organ, at Barry College in Miami Shores, Florida. He has been active in the Fellowship of United Methodist in Worship and the Arts. Served as President of the NC Chapter of Fellowship of United Methodist in Worship and the Arts. Has been the Organist for “Pro Musica” in Wilson for three spring Choral Concerts 2000, 2001 and 2002. Bill resides in Kinston, with his two Dachshunds--- Amadeus and Sebastian, and works full Time at Contract Flooring & Design as Chief Estimator, since 1995.
Mr. Adam J. Schultz, a native of Birmingham Alabama, is the Director of Bands for Toisnot Middle School, Darden Middle School and assists with the Fike High School Marching Band in Wilson, North Carolina. He earned his BA in Music Education at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. During his tenure in Wilson County Mr. Schultz's bands have earned Excellent ratings at their annual Kings Dominion Music Festival. While attending Jacksonville State University, Mr. Schultz was a member of the Marching Southerners, Wind Ensemble, Clarinet Choir and Clarinet Studio. His clarinet instructors have included Sallie V. White of Birmingham, Alabama and Mark A. Brandon of Jacksonville, Alabama. Mr. Schultz is a member of the National Association for Music Education and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, National Fraternity for Men of Music. Mr. Schultz, along with his wife Katie and son Conner, reside in Tarboro, NC where they are very active in their church, Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church. He participates in many musical opportunities within the church and community, teaches private music lessons and is the Director of Youth Ministries at HMPC.
He will be offering works by Buxtehude, Bach, Franck, Haydn, Mozart among others. All concerts in the series are free and open to the public. The Advent Noonday Series will begin on Wednesday, November 29 at Noon and will feature Woody McDonnell, tenor.
