Gas Line Location
Call before you dig!
Wilson Energy provides natural gas to consumers by underground lines. Damaging or disturbing these lines could result in disrupted service, expensive repairs, or personal injury. If you are planning to do any type of excavation a utility locate request is required.
Wilson Energy requires that all locate requests be processed through the North Carolina One Call Center (NCOCC). Once NCOCC receives the request they will forward the locate information to the proper agencies. By calling NCOCC you can have the gas, electric, water, sewer, cable, telephone lines, etc located with one phone call. The locate will have a specified work date and time so that the lines will be located before work begins. The normal time in which agencies have to locate lines is two (2) working days. Working days are defined as Monday through Friday, but will vary during holidays. All Calls to the North Carolina One-Call Center are free
These locates will have only agency owned lines located, privately owned lines will NOT be marked.
