Excess Flow Valve
The Excess Flow Valve (EFV) is designed to automatically shut off the flow of gas when a service line is damaged. Since February of 1999, EFV's have been installed on every new and replaced 3/4" residential service in the City of Wilson at no cost to our customers. EFV's are available for homeowners with services installed prior to February 1, 1999 at the following prices:
