Retrofit Location Identification

Best Management PracticesThe third program component requires the annual identification of areas within existing developed locations that are suitable for retrofitted stormwater best management practices (BMP). These retrofitted BMPs improve water quality by treating stormwater runoff and removing pollutants. Peak runoff flows are also decreased by retrofitted BMPs which, as discussed previously, reduce water quality and quantity concerns.
