Illegal Discharge Prevention
The second program component requires the identification and removal of pollutant discharges into the stormwater drainage system. This is accomplished through field inspections and screenings. This program component helps improve water quality by eliminating pollutant sources. Water quantity concerns are also attenuated when illegal discharges that impede the flow of water such as yard debris and sediment are removed.
