Have you been the victim of a crime? The Wilson Police Department offers citizens multiple ways of filing a report.
When to call 911 for Police assistance:
- Crimes in Progress
- Life threatening situations (Assaults)
- Motor vehicle accidents
When to call the Telephone Response System for Police assistance:
The Wilson Police Department has a Telephone Response System dedicated to taking reports by telephone. You will receive the same level of service as you would if an officer had responded to you. To contact someone who will take your report, please call 252.399.2323
- Simple Assaults
- Missing Person (Adult / Juvenile)
- Vandalism / Damage to Property
- Animal Call Complaints
- Larcenies that occurred earlier
- Harassing / Annoying Phone Calls
- Unauthorized Use / Theft / Break-in Damage to a Vehicle that occurred earlier
- Additions to Reports made earlier
- Fraud / Embezzlement / Forgeries that occurred earlier
When to use On-Line reporting:
NOTE: Only use this form if the offense occurred within the city limits of Wilson.
The Wilson Police Department takes reports on-line through our Citizen's Report form. Fill out the form and print the confirmation page. If you have any questions about the offense you are reporting, please call 252.399.2323. Only use this form for the following offenses:
- Theft that occurred earlier
- Vandalism / Damage to Property
- Lost Property
