Mission Statement
To assist city departments in their efforts to prevent, reduce the severity of, and mitigate the impact of accidents, injuries, financial losses, and lost productivity incurred by the City of Wilson, its employees, residents, visitors, and businesses.
About the Department
The department is staffed by the Safety and Risk Manager, a full-time Safety Analyst, 2 full-time Safety Technicians, a full-time Nurse and two part time Nurses. The Department is responsible for administering the City's employee Occupational Safety and Health programs and the City's Risk Management Program.
