Wilson Fire/Rescue Services’ specific ‘Emergency Operation’ procedure revolves around three shifts, and five specific sub-stations. Each firefighter serving with us is in a career, full time, position. Each shift, in each of the five different stations, throughout out the City of Wilson, is managed by our acting Commanders. Our organization is dedicated to the public’s safety, and operates efficiently 24 hours a day.  

 

David B. Aycock - Battalion Commander (Battalion 1)

 

Commander David Aycock serves as the Battalion Commander for Wilson Fire/Rescue Services stationed at a Headquarters.  He oversees the daily operations of shift personnel, five stations and the equipment located at those stations. Aycock manages and directs the operations of emergency incidents and the necessary means to assist the public in the protection of life and property.  daycock@wilsonnc.org

 

 

Kevin Hubbard - Battalion Commander (Battalion 3)

 

Commander Kevin Hubbard is one of four battalion commanders responsible for the daily operations of shift personnel.  Daily shift operations include response to and mitigation of emergency incidents, training, fire prevention and personnel supervision.  Commander Hubbard also serves as the departmental Pre-Incident Survey Manager. khubbard@wilsonnc.org
