No. You have the choice to buy all, any or none of the communication services offered.

Do I have to buy new appliances to use this service?
No. If your computer, TV or phone works with their current connections, you should not have to upgrade. Your current electronics will work fine.

Will I have to change the wiring inside my house?
No. In most cases, the wiring you already have will work just fine.

Right now, the current cable provider doesn’t offer broadband down my street. Will the city make this service available?
Yes. Wilson's mission is to provide this to every address in the city limits.

If I live in neighborhood with underground utilities, how will the fiber be installed in my yard?
While there are number of construction methods available to the city to install this service pipe, the selected methods will disturb the existing lawn as little as possible. Many times the only digging taking place will be at the street curb and at the home, both only small holes. A bore under the lawn will be made between the holes and a 3/4" pipe pulled through. Of course we will tailor our construction method to each individual installation.
