WYC is an Active Member of the Governor's Youth Advocacy Office -

Providing organizations for young people to carry out service projects

  • Providing opportunities for high school students to engage in local govenmental matters
  • Teaching youth leadership skills and responsibiligy
  • Initiating programs, projects and events that will benefit the youth and our communities
  • Serving, listening and representing the youth of NC in all matters of civic interest and need
