Wilson Neighborhood Associations
Neighborhood Associations bring the community together in order to improve the viability and livability of the City of Wilson's neighborhoods.
What is a Neighborhood Association?
It is a group of residents and business representatives who devote their time and energy to improving and enhancing a well-defined geographic area. The group holds meetings, sponsors events and plans activities that provide an avenue for exchange of ideas, prioritizing projects, providing solutions and implementing plans to improve a neighborhood.
Why start or belong to a Neighborhood Assocation?
- build a sense of community
- address concerns or issues of need
- form a collective, united voice
